United Kingdom – Bristol my gems

I have been living in the United Kingdom (London) for four years now and while I can’t get enough of London, I push myself to see more of the UK than just that city. Bristol is a nice one to explore if you are planning to visit the UK. It is a two hours drive from London and worth a visit.

My suggestion would be to stay in Hotel du Vin which is housed within an impressively restored Sugar house and has 40 timelessly styled bedrooms and stunning suites. You will be able to appreciate some authentic British food and enjoy great cocktails at the bar.

While in Bristol check out M Shed a museum which presents video, photography, objects from prehistoric times to the present day. M Shed tells the story of the city and its unique place in the world. And entrance is free!

bristolBut probably my most loved area in Bristol is Stokes Croft, where you will find art on the streets. This area is home turf for Banksy and inspired others to add on continuously with new Urban Art. You will be walking around in an open air modern art museum. Be amazed and take a break for a coffee at Cafe Kino or more substantial food at Bistro The Bristolian.
