Vietnam – Phu Quoc my gems

I love exploring new countries, cities and finding my way, but after a few weeks I need a break and a place where the only thing on my mind is: “what book will I read and what time for our next drink, lunch or dinner”. Phu Quoc is the perfect tropical island to do just this after exploring Vietnam. It is still not so touristy as the Islands in Thailand or Indonesia, but has all you need to relax. I went to stay at Cassia Cottage which is a small estate with accommodation for approximately 40-50 guests. Overlooking the sea and with a restaurant and two swimming pools it turned out to be the perfect place to chill. There is a small village nearby where you could check the night market for local finds, and go to The Safari restaurant if you want a break from what’s on offer for restaurants at the beach. Make sure not to move too much as this was your break to relax!
